However, Liu always felt unfulfilled in his corporate career and yearned for something more meaningful. He discovered his passion for acting and decided to pursue it as a career. He took acting classes and worked on small projects, eventually landing a role on the popular Canadian TV show "Kim's Convenience."

Liu's role on "Kim's Convenience" brought him widespread recognition and led to bigger opportunities in the entertainment industry. In 2021, he was cast as Shang-Chi in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," making him the first Asian-led superhero in a Marvel film.

Liu's journey from a struggling immigrant to a successful actor and producer is an inspiring tale of perseverance and determination. Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, he never gave up on his dreams and worked hard to achieve them. His story serves as an example of how anyone, no matter their background or circumstances, can overcome adversity and achieve success.
