Doh Roti Canai 🇲🇾 | โรตีคาไน | Paratha | Roti Maryam | Flatbread Dough Recipe

Описание: Depends on the continents, Roti Canai also known as Roti Chenai or Roti Paratha or Flat Bread. It is a popular dish especially for breakfast and has become a snack dish in Malaysia. “Roti” means bread in Sanskrit and most other Indian languages. “Canai” means to toss/flip the dough thinly, in Malay word. They are crispy and flaky.

Roti Canai dough is made with flour, water, milk, salt, sugar and butter/margarine. The ingredients are mixed until it forms into a ball then allowed to rest. The dough is then kneaded and rest once more. The balls are afterwards coated with butter/margarine, covered and rest overnight before it can be tossed into Roti Canai.

Ingredients / Bahan-bahan:

1 kg Bread Flour/Tepung Roti
2 tbsp Sugar/Gula
1 tbsp Salt/Garam
2 tbsp Condensed Milk/Susu Pekat
166gm Butter/Margarine, melted/Mentega atau Marjerin cair
500ml Water/Air

Each dough balls / Berat setiap bebola doh : 80gm
Yield / Jumlah bebola doh: 23 biji
