Glory be to God alone.

Today’s comforting manna from the Lord:
I will heal your broken heart, bind your wounds, wipe your tears, and give you new life. Do not be afraid.

Psalms 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Beloved in Christ,
Are you crying, saying, “No one understands my pain”? Do not worry. People may have wounded your heart through words and actions, but today our Savior Jesus comes near to bind your wounds.
Doctors can heal only visible physical injuries, but only the Lord can heal the deep wounds of the heart.
The world throws away a broken vessel, but the Lord dwells with the brokenhearted.
So stop grieving over your pain. Cast your burden on the Lord and learn to praise Him as “the God who heals wounds.” Then the Lord will heal you and lift you up before those who hurt you. Every tear you shed is counted. This pain is not permanent. The hand of the Lord will rest upon you, heal your wounds, and fill you with great joy. Believe—complete healing will surely come.
Amen.

Let us pray:
My loving Holy Heavenly Father, I thank You for this new day.
O Lord who binds wounds, heal my broken heart right now. Restore my wounds, fill me with Your divine peace, bless me, and lift me up.
Bless Your children celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries today, and crown their new year with Your goodness and grace.
Father, prepare me and make me worthy to be taken with You at the coming of Jesus.
I pray in the name of Jesus, our good Father. Amen.
