If you play defence and are positioned in front of the net, it’s important that you know where the puck is. Equally important is knowing where the opponents without the puck are
When you identify these players, eliminate them as a threat to score by tying up their stick. Either going over top, or under neath.
It’s much more difficult to score if they cannot use their stick!
