Itemless Pantheon 5 with ALL BINDINGS

Описание: This is the peak of my itemless challenges journey.

Pantheon of Hallownest, the hardest challenge from the base game, done without a SINGLE item and with ALL Bindings at once.

Itemless means you have literally NOTHING. No movement abilities, no spells, no Nail upgrades, no additional Masks nor Vessel fragments. Every object that can be picked up is banned, hence itemless is the state you are in at the very beginning of the game. Load a new savefile, here you are itemless.

Obviously Wings are needed for AbsRad so they are allowed for plats and climb phases.

I had already done itemless P5 roughly a year ago and adding All Bindings makes the challenge much harder:
Your Nail damages go from 5 to 4 due to Nail Binding. It might sound like not a big deal but it actually makes bosses such as Flukemarm, Collector and Grey Prince Zote much harder. Also, since Nail Binding applies a reduction of 20% on your Nail dmg, the whole run is ~20% longer,
You have 4 Masks instead of 5 due to Mask Bindings, which makes double dmg bosses much more threatening,
You can't heal more than once in a row due to Soul Binding. Making mistakes is then much more punitive,
Charm Binding is.. useless since itemless already means you have no Charms lol.

Sadly, after a hundred hours of practice, it turned out that two bosses are irremediably RNG. Then i had to use some mods to make these bosses more consistent. I obviously am talking about Traitor Lord and Absolute Radiance, the only two bosses with undodgeable attacks. During practice, i died to them a lot when playing them with no mods even while i had the best gameplay possible.
Indeed, Traitor Lord being able to do 2 shockwaves in a row can end your run and you couldn't do anything about it. Same with AbsRad if she does too many Beam Walls in a row. Hence, as i said, i used these two mods to make these fights consistent because i decently can't hope for good RNG in a 4h run:
TraitorLordModifier makes Traitor Lord unable to do 2 shockwaves in a row and forces him to do max amount of "regular" attacks between two shockwaves (5 attacks).
AbsRadBeamWallLimiter forces AbsRad to do Beam Walls only after 5 "regular" attacks. Note that this is an enhanced version of the previous mod i was using (AbsRadConfigurableAttacks) that matches much better the normal behavior of the boss (and makes the fight slightly harder but it was more satisfying like this).

I also used SoulTyrantModifier but this one isn't needed. It just makes hitless phase 2 consistent. I allowed it because i am a RNG hater lol.

These mods are based on the code of the base game so that they only modify the bosses in a way that would be possible without mods (basically, they allow best RNG possible). Ask for more details if needed.

It doesn't mean that these bosses are not doable without these mods, just that they are not consistent enough. Also don't get me wrong. These mods make these bosses more fair but definitely not trivial. Two mistakes in a row and you still are dead (since they deal double dmg and you have 4 Masks).

These mods have been made by my dear friend ‪@earlyhemisphere‬ . Making mods is a lot of work. Modifying a single thing can lead to unexpected behaviors so it has to be done carefully. Early helped me a lot and none of all of this could've been done without him. Thanks a lot my friend.

Thanks to Team Cherry for this beautiful game. Itemless P5 was my main goal since i started doing vids. Now i even did it with All Bindings (and before Silksong!!) which truly makes me happy. And finally, thanks to all my subscribers who supported me. This community is wonderful.

Now what next? The itemless journey is NOT done. There still are some challenges i want to do so if you like itemless gameplay, don't worry, there will be more.

Maybe i'll complete the description later but for now, i don't know what else i could say.
