On April 26, 1986 CFNY took the legendary Pete ‘n Geets morning show on the road to Mississauga’s cable 10 TV studios for a Spirit Of Radio Breakfast Broadcast simulcast live from their street side location on Wolfedale Road.
Featuring Pete ‘n Geets, Fred Patterson, Mike Stafford, Hazel McCallion, a blow up doll and a colourful cast of characters, this archived footage was recently discovered 37 years later on a dusty unmarked VHS tape buried at the bottom of Fred Patterson’s underwear drawer in Brampton, Ontario.
After several months searching for a VHS player to screen it on, it has finally been viewed, digitally transferred and now lives here.
