Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a 307-meter long and 39-meter high canal aqueduct. Located in Wales, this aqueduct carries the Llangollen Canal over the River Dee.
This was a short drive from our visit in Wrexham and was really a wonderful sight to see! Great experience being able to walk over the aqueduct, and the area also offered a short hike with a view from the river below.
