According to the UAE’s WAM state news agency, a missile targeted a vessel owned by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) while it was navigating the Strait of Hormuz earlier today.
President Donald Trump said that the five-month war with Iran could end soon, while acknowledging that the US armed forces were facing supply problems involving some weapons.
Meanwhile, an Iranian parliamentary committee is reviewing a preliminary bill that would prohibit US, Israeli and other vessels designated as “hostile” from crossing the Strait of Hormuz, Fars news agency reported, citing a lawmaker. Violations could attract fines of up to 20% of a ship’s cargo value.
