Day 5 starts high above Osaka with a trip to the observation deck—then we hit the streets for some serious snacking.
Octopus balls (takoyaki), tempura, and a dessert called “pip chicken” were all on the menu... and yes, we ate standing up on the street (probably not the most polite move in Japan).
After some shopping at Tsutaya Ebisubashi, we made our way to Kobe to kick off the cruise portion of the trip.
