I found these to be perfectly functional detail brushes. At this price point for a pack of 30 you can't expect them to be absolutely amazing, but I was presently surprised at how good they were and I will be using them (for a long time, given that you get 10x of each size in the pack).
They wick and hold paint well, the tips come to a fine point, no stray bristles and so far wash up easily. I do wish I had gotten the "multi-colored" pack, to make it easier to distinguish the tip lengths from a distance, but it really isn't hard to just look at the tip to see if you are picking up a 0, 00 or a 000. [The sizes are also painted on the side of the brush handle, but looking at the tip is probably easier.]
