Current Situation in the UAE
Fujairah Incident: Earlier today, a drone interception over the Port of Fujairah caused a fire. While no casualties were reported, some oil-loading operations have been suspended.
Safety Alerts: Official government channels in the UAE (such as NCEMA) have previously issued alerts. Residents are advised to follow only official sources like the Ministry of Interior or WAM (Emirates News Agency).
Strict Media Laws: Authorities have warned that sharing videos or photos of missile interceptions or damage on social media is illegal and can lead to arrest. Several individuals have already been detained this week for such posts.
Note: The UAE's air defense systems (including THAAD and Patriot) remain highly active and have successfully intercepted the majority of incoming threats over the last two weeks.
