This antique rusty butcher's cleaver is our first restoration. We just started with restorations and this first youtube video took a lot of effort.You can give us some feedback in the comments if you like. But remind its our first one so don't be to hard on us 😊.

During the making of this rusty cleaver video we found out we took some decisions where we make hard on ourselves. We love the woodturning video's because they are so #satisfying (#asmr). That's why we especially wanted to use the lathe to make the handle of a rolling pin.
But we wouldn't be SIXFIX if we didn't try to FIX it altough it wasn't the easiest way.
We got the idea to make the handle with the lathe by the video from the small workshop.

We got this antique #rusty butcher's cleaver from a friend of us. He works as a garbageman and always finds the most craziest and beautiful things what people have thrown away.
He was so kind to give it to us and directly supporting our YouTube channel.
It's unfortunate that these old things were thrown away but we like to restore it.
