Quad meet between Milpitas, Mountain View, Homestead, and Lynbrook High Schools. The meet was held at Mountain View High School in Mountain View, CA on 3/14/2026. The finish line camera was in 1080p 60fps mode, and the main camera was in 4K 30fps.
This was the last race of the night, and the light was getting low. My main camera could handle it because I kept adjusting the camera settings to account for the low light. Our finish line camera was still operating in "daytime" mode, and on the last two races (Varsity), it became unusable. I rescued the JV races with editing tricks, but the ISO was pegged for the Varsity races, and no amount of editing skills I have could rescue it. I was operating the main camera with the assumption that I could edit out my fast pans (Varsity girls race), but due to the poor finish line images, I had to keep the fast pans in. Sorry if it is hard to watch.
