VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] Introduction
[2:04] The dyestocks
1% dyestocks of dharma acid dyes in Emerald Green R0yal PUrple, Electric violet, Caribbean blue, and intense iris.
[2:28] The dyebath setup
pour enough water on to the yarn to cover it but some yarn is still at the surface.
(approx. 8-10 cups water) Add 3 T white vinegar
[5:00] Dyeing the yarn
pour on dyestocks of every color but the blue while at room temperature.
Heat up.
add on more presoak
[8:51] heating the yarn on the stove
wait 15 minutes
[9:48] Flipping the yarn
add more liquid to the dyebath
[11:35] Adding the blue dye
then measure out 30 mL (2 Tbsp) of Caribbean Blue, in 500 mL of water to it. Pour over everything.
Heat for 30 minutes
[13:26] removing the yarn from the dyebath
[15:06] Washing the cooled yarn
[18:12] The finished dry yarn and conclusions
