CHAN/Global News BC - Current News Opens: March 2022

Описание: Here's a look at the current opens used by Global BC. The station has one of the highest local news output in Canada and is #1 in all time slots. I've decided to not include any of the BC 1 opens or Focus BC for that matter as I'm not currently subscribed to BC 1.

It's interesting to note that since the social distancing measures of the COVID-19 pandemic began, the station has used two sets if the newscast has two anchors. It's more consistent on Global News Morning. One anchor is located in the downstairs main studio, also known as "Studio 2" and another anchor on the upstairs studio often used by BC 1. This is noticeable by the different green screen backgrounds used with the BC 1 set featuring the "newsroom" monitors with the SMPTE bars.
