Overview of UGC NET JRF
The UGC NET is divided into two categories:

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): The JRF is awarded to candidates who qualify for a research-based position in their chosen field. The syllabus for Paper 2 is designed according to the subject chosen by the candidate, such as English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, etc.

The total duration of the UGC NET JRF exam is 3 hours, with Paper 1 lasting for 1 hour and Paper 2 for 2 hours.
