2022 BMW M5 CS: POV Drive, Impressions and ASMR

This is the 2022 BMW M5 CS!!!! I believe only around 250 or so of these will be produced so it's awesome to be able to share this performance oriented sedan and what it has to offer!! First off for this particular spec is the exterior colors! The Frozen deep green metallic is a $5K option and paired with the gold accents, it looks amazing! This model doesn't have the carbon ceramic brakes which would have had gold calipers, but the red looks great and still have plenty of stopping power! The rest of the exterior is very similar to the normal M5 with the grill openings for cooling, the carbon fiber which can be an option and even the tail light design! Now a big factor with this car is that it weights roughly 230 pounds less than a normal M5! With all the carbon, the carbon hood, roof and even the seats, that's a big difference! This 2022 BMW M5 CS doesn't have a power trunk which would add weight, but it still retains remote start and heated/power front seats and AC! For a car that will most likely see normal daily driving, those are great comforts to keep, but this will still handle back roads and the track amazing I am sure! I had a 2022 BMW M4 Competition for a week with these seats and with a similar weight, this would handle well!
The interior on this 2022 BMW M5 CS is exactly like a normal M5! Only difference I have seen is the aclantara on the steering wheel! There is no center storage which seems like a weird way to "save weight", but you have the glove box!
The back seats are my favorite part having buckets for two people! Very cool to see a four door sedan with performance aspects for the back seats! These bucket seats are not meant for bigger individuals, but for my smaller frame, they are so supportive and comfortable, best factory bucket seat hands down!
The 2022 BMW M5 CS is a performance oriented family sedan, but does offer less practicality than a normal M5 only being a four seater, the back seats also don't fold down, so you are limited on storage, but other than that, would be so much fun to daily drive!
