Empire dispensaries held their 2nd Annual Toy Drive December 20, 2020 from 11am-1pm. The Empire family spent weeks coordinating, organizing, and spreading the word about the community event. Families were hit extra hard this year and everyone came together to make sure the community had toys and gifts for their children. It was a huge event and it is beautiful to see the city come together and give back.

Empire Gives Back has been a major movement by Empire dispensaries in the Inland Empire and the impact has been tremendous. Every month the Empire family comes together to support and give back. Aiko is a project manager at Empire dispensaries and was one of the many volunteers throughout the day.

“Today we are hosting our 2nd Annual Toy Drive here at Empire Connect. We are giving toys out to 400 kids in the community. Since we have opened doors we have vowed to always give back to the community. This is just one of the many events that we have been hosting this year,” said Aiko.

Empire Connect and Empire Twin Palms came together with the help of sponsors to bring happiness and joy to the children of the Inland Empire. The Empire staff gave an abundance of toys but it was also the major donations given by the community that really pushed this Toy Drive over the top. The amount of toys that the public gave was astounding and heart warming. The looks on the children's faces when receiving the toys was priceless. Empire also made a call to the north pole and was able to have Santa Clause stop by to provide an extra merry mood. Families were able to receive age appropriate toys and also take pictures with Santa Clause. The energy and spirit that surrounded the event was nothing but spectacular. Empire staff member Karrum was also part of the festivities and shared more on the event.

“We want to shout out all our vendors for donating and also shoutout to our community for also donating,” said Karrum.

The cannabis community has been providing support to the community for various years and it is beautiful to see how a plant can bring peace, joy and happiness to so many people. Empire dispensaries 2nd Annual Toy Drive had a huge amount of love and support from cannabis brands Malibu Cannabis Flower, Poppy Flower, 11:11 Cannabis, Platinum Vapes, Heavy Hitters, Punch Edibles, Dime Industries, Hollow Tips, Plug Play, Mendo Mountains, Dripp Extracts, and Kanha Edibles. A movement is stronger with more involvement and the entire Inland Empire felt the impact of Empire’s 2nd Annual Toy Drive. Empire dispensaries welcome anyone who would like to volunteer and/or donate. The 2nd Annual Toy Drive was the last charity event for the year but stay tuned for more in 2021.
