Shri. Late Wangmao Angh, the chief Angh of Yinchong village in the Sagaing Division, Naga Self Administered Zone of Myanmar, Passed away on September 11/2021 after a Prolonged illness.
Born in 1951,Late Wangmao Angh was well known in the Eastern Konyak areas and neighbouring Naga Villages for resisting the military Juntas.
He stood strong and firm against the force of the Burmese military and no Eastern konyak villages were converted to Buddhism.
He was also a member of the peace negotiating group between the Government of Myanmar and the NSCN(K).
My Deepest sympathy to the entire bereaved family and our village on the lost of beloved king.
