This true story as told by the wolf of the three little pigs fairy tale for children is a humorous telling of the age-old tale I've always enjoyed because of its smart matter-of-fact delivery. Sorry, my voice is going out today so I wasn't able to read as well, but I hope your kids enjoy it anyway. This story teaches that there's always another way to look at a story. With compassion and humor, we can strip away the traditional Big Bad thing and see that the story could have gone an entirely different way where the wolf is simply an innocent neighbor with a cold trying to borrow a cup of sugar. The pigs turn out not to be so virtuous, but covetous and rude little pigs. He does eat them but runs this under the excuse of not letting good food go to waste. Their demise is simply a result of their own poor construction techniques. So it's a pretty funny fun story. I hope you and your children enjoy it.

Thrift Books is an excellent alternative to Amazon with a selection of books that you can't find anywhere else. I was a huge fan of R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series when I was a young teen and I wanted to see if I could find The Haunted Mask in its original printing. It's no longer available through amazon. So I hunted around on Thrift Books and found it. You might have a book you particularly loved as a child that you can only find with newly updated illustrations or a different cover than what you remember. Why not find the actual book you're looking for at Thrift Books. They're great!
