This is a “Basic Monitor Setting Guide” designed to assist Amphion users in maximising the sonic performance of their studio monitors - in home, project or commercial studios.
Shot at Red Bull Studios Tokyo, it uses the Two Series (Two15) orientated vertically (applies to Two18 also) to demonstrate a positioning technique for achieving correct stereo imaging.
Using equidistant placement, toe-in and tilt, and Amphion’s “Monitor Setting Stencil”, a default positioning can be established, and later tuned to suit individual user tastes.
One Series (One12, One15, One18) units can be orientated either vertically or horizontally. However, their acoustical centre-points are located midway between the tweeter and woofer.
