Описание: Today, allow me to show you to the night I had out with my family for Valentine's Day.
Coming to the Manor at Airmont every year for this Valentine's Day Tasting is always a highlight in my calendar. A solid 3 hour meal with over 30 different recipes present and several delicious cocktails, coffee and wines makes for quite the date night, and maybe some day I'll be bringing my own date to this event!

Over the course of the evening, we enjoyed:
an array of delicious seafood dishes as appetizers, including tequila lime shrimp, delicious Maryland style crab cakes and a lovely, perfectly cooked selection of salmon and Chilean sea bass
beautiful noodle and rice dishes, exemplifying the background of the chefs as both American and Asian descent mixed with some southern and south western flairs
Excellence on the grill with incredible red meats, chicken and lamb lollies - a personal favorite of mine!
delightful desert morsels of homemade cheesecakes, brownies, and my family's favorite - homemade tiramisu and peach cobbler from scratch!

In my quest to normalize wearing nicer and more upscale attire on the regular to help build my own self confidence, this event was definitely an easy step forward - a slow wading into the pool to test the temperature for myself. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, not just in enjoying the delectable offerings we were given, but by how comfortable I actually was, being there in my own tailored clothing. We were in fact the only folks there dressed in suits and nicer attire, and, while not peacockish or insanely eye-catching, we did receive a few nice remarks on the clothes and style, thoroughly encouraging me in my quest for reaching well dressed normalcy.

Next time I go out though... I'm flying solo. Wish me luck!
