The front end of the equation sure gets a lot of talk. New camera after new camera after new camera, but what seems to get lost is the idea that we are supposed to USE those cameras to actually make the best work we possibly can. And once that work is made, use it to create strong prints, books, essays, and yes...the Picture Package.
This little gem of a puzzle typically represents a three to five-picture "package" of images we can use to practice things like editing and sequencing. These "packages" can be based on content, context, subject matter, color palette, or all the above. If you are attempting to design something like an eighty-page publication, use the picture package as a training ground for larger projects. And if you are new to narrative photography, think about working in picture package form by turning your random, single images into more cohesive bodies of work.
