A Prayer for the Presentation of the Lord

Lord God,
We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who was presented in the Temple as a sign of obedience and faith. On this day, as we reflect on His humble offering, we ask that we too may follow His example of surrender and devotion to Your will.

May we, like Simeon, recognize Your presence in our lives and be filled with peace, knowing that You are with us in all things. May we, like Anna, live with hearts full of gratitude and praise, always seeking to serve You faithfully.

Bless our families, our communities, and all those we encounter, that we may be instruments of Your light and love in the world. Help us to be ever mindful of Your divine plan and grant us the strength to walk in Your ways.

Through the intercession of Mary, Your Mother, we offer ourselves anew to You. May we, like the holy family, live in unity, love, and faith, bringing Your presence into the world around us.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
