Part 2 of the extended series for my 15-Day Big Boulder Loop Hike from May 2025. In this installment I re-enter Capitol Reef National Park near Oak Creek and then hike up over The Waterpocket Fold following some old roads before connecting to an ATV in the national forest. From there I attempt to find a way down the canyons near the Circle Cliffs via off-trail route finding. Highlights include rarely-seen portions of Capitol Reef, Indian Gulch, Stair Canyon, and discussions on backcountry tacos and candy probability. 😉✌️
