This session is inspired by "Bluebird" by Alexis Ffrench—a piece that often played in our home on early mornings when sleep was no longer an option for the kids. It became the soundtrack to quiet moments, to drawing and crafting, to easing into the day. I think I will always associate this piece with that peaceful, morning stillness.
Here, I let myself drift for 51 minutes, exploring and expanding on that feeling. For this quiet session, I decided to keep the window closed, creating a more intimate space. However, I set up microphones outside to capture the atmosphere—the wind, distant voices, and planes flying overhead on their way to the next airport.
