Important Song notes:
-Measures 39-42 are infact punched-in low Open C notes that were done via a second bass track.
-This is EXACTLY what Troy did in the original recording, and if you listen to the official isolated bass track, it's very obvious that it's a punch-in for these Low Open C notes.
-Also it's obvious that it's a punch-in on a separate track because you can't play a low C while in D standard tuning, because the lowest note is D, and a higher octave doesn't sound that good

-What Troy does in a live setting, is instead of doing a drop pitch to get that low Open C note, he simply plays the 5th fret of the Low D string. (I don't know why he didn't do that on the actual album recording, but that's what you would do when playing the song while tuned DGCF)
