60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN on the WEST SOMERSET + MIDLAND PULLMAN 43047 + 43049 at Paignton in early July

Описание: As we enter July, the National Railway Museum's LNER A3 Pacific 60103 Flying Scotsman wound down her first operating week on the West Somerset Railway on Wednesday, before beginning static displays at Bishops Lydeard. 7812 'Erlestoke Manor' was also in steam, and we see the locomotive passing through Watchet in the afternoon, running round at Minehead and heading out with the slightly delayed return service through Williton, where GWR 14XX 1466 was also being steam tested in the sheds, before returning to Didcot after a fantastic contract overhaul carried out by the WSR team!

The Flying Scotsman will be in action at the WSR on the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th July, with static displays of the locomotive available at Bishops Lydeard on 3rd – 7th, 13th & 14th July, before she will move to the Severn Valley Railway in conjunction with the official reopening after the landslip there between Hampton Loade - Bridgnorth earlier this year.

On Thursday, Locomotive Services Midland Pullman was in the region working the 'Torbay Riviera Pullman' from Doncaster - Paignton, before stabling in Goodrington Holding Sidings, and we see 43047 + 43049 'Neville Hill' easing out to pick up passengers before returning the 1Z44 to Doncaster. We also see BR 75014 'Braveheart' & 7827 'Lydham Manor' in action along the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway!
