I made a shallow-diving crankbait shaped like a fat ball. If you're familiar with vintage lures, you'll probably think they look like cats.
As you can see, it is highly buoyant. When reeled in slowly, it swims on the surface like a topwater lure.

Nitrocellulose Lacquer.
Epoxy adhesive.
Epoxy coating for fishing lure.
