Our Torqeedo Cruise 4.0 motor failed to power up our throttle controller on one of our solar electric boats. We thought of sending it out for repair but that didn't make sense. So we replaced the master controller circuit board, which we purchased from Torqeedo, and the motor worked again.
Here is the part number for the master controller board we purchased from Torqueedo to fix the motor:
