2025 UPDATE! Shin'en's proprietary sound engine has finally been reverse-engineered and made playable/convertible via the Gaxtapper project over at GitHub; and the soundtracks for ALL GBA installments of CT Special Forces have been preserved in their best quality (surpassing this vintage emulator recording) - hop on over to KHInsider and ENJOY!!!
In my opinion, this rendition is far better than the PS1 CDDA soundtrack (both composed by Shin'en Multimedia). Unfortunately the other two games' soundtracks weren't nearly as interesting as this one (also composed by Shin'en). This one is an Visual Boy Advance recording due to being a pain to convert into a chiptune-player compatible format.
