Today I check out the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon! This one happens to have the 6 speed manual transmission! I've always heard that the manual is the better choice for off roading, but it never made sense to me. I figured it would be like driving a sports car off road, having to consistently give it more gas or push in the clutch. Turns out, the way the Jeep is set up, there isn't much clutch/gas work needed when crawling at slow speeds. The engine doesn't stall because the low range 1st gear keeps the wheels turning no matter what! Such a great experience driving this off road machine!
