In the current landscape, effectively demonstrating the value of library consortia and libraries is crucial for continued success and growth. This panel brings together three library consortia, both academic and multi-type library consortia, to share their strategies for addressing this challenge. You’ll hear directly about the initiatives these consortia are implementing to articulate their value to diverse stakeholders and equip their member libraries to demonstrate their institutional value and the collective power of consortial collaboration.
This session will provide attendees with concrete examples, including programming, documentation, talking points, quantitative and qualitative data types and materials that these consortia use. Attendees will leave the session with ideas, strategies and tools that both libraries and consortia can use to communicate the value of consortial partnerships.
