Name of Place: Kattappana, located in of Idukki district( Kerala).

About:
Kattappana is a small town and offbeat located in near Kottayam- Idukki of Kerala. It is the main urban centre in the high ranges of Idukki district, It has a cool climate with the temperature between 22-28°C during a summer midday. It is situated 900 metres above sea level. This spot surrounded by the greenery of tea gardens , Periyar River, Fresh cool air, murmuring Pine forest ,small waterfalls , attractive meadows inviting you to vagamon.

By Train: The nearest railway station is at Kuttikanam which is 22 km from Vagamon.
By Air:
Lying approximately 170 kilometers from Vagamon city, the nearest airport lies in Kochi. The Cochin International Airport.
By Road:
Local buses directly and regularly provide services from Kochi, Trivandrum, Cochin, and Munnar. Munnar to Kattappana Direct bus journey and surrounded by deep green valleys and scenic views.
