After Dad and I installed the new crimping rollers in our New Holland 489 haybine, we had to wait for the opportunity to test them out. Their first trial came in the form of a heavy second crop of alfalfa. I observe and discuss the results, and voice my opinion on whether that was a sound purchase.
Along with the rollers, I put our new windrow moisture tester to use, and we do a little repair on a wagon that decided to part ways with...itself.
