As often in Touhou, Unconnected Marketeers' extra stage is much harder with Marisa than with other characters. The boss has many attacks that make it hard to stay under her, making damaging her with Marisa difficult. This isn't helped by ZUN being bad at balancing characters, as Marisa's focused shot type has less DPS than Reimu's despite being slower and less wide.
The extra is still fun so I decided to try clearing it with Marisa for the challenge. It didn't prove to be that bad with the centipede card that increases your DPS the longer you stay alive (capped at 1.8x, so 80% more DPS than normally). There's still a few dangerous attacks (like Dragon Eater) and stage sections but it stays very reasonable as long as you manage to avoid dying. The potion card can be used to increase the margin of error.
