Описание: This GA4GH Implementation Forum (GIF) Ask Me Anything (AMA) session focused on the GA4GH Passports specification, a data model for securely encoding information about researchers and their dataset permissions. It also explored the GA4GH Visas that provide researchers with the authorisation to datasets, as well as the Authorisation and Authentication Infrastructure (AAI) specification, which offers a secure mechanism for identity verification and data access authorization. This session also highlighted ongoing work towards new versions and initiatives, such as Verifiable Credentials and Data Passports. This interactive discussion provided current and future implementers the chance to directly engage with the Passports product team and experts who have deployed Passports in various settings.
