Why Bill To Remove PMs, CMs & Ministers With Criminal Charges Is Being Introduced In Parliament

Описание: A bill to remove elected representatives, including the Prime Minister, Union ministers, Chief Ministers, and Union Territory ministers, from office upon arrest or detention on serious criminal charges will be introduced in Parliament today. Additionally, three other bills—the Government of Union Territories (Amendment) Bill 2025, the Constitution (One Hundred and Thirtieth Amendment) Bill 2025, and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill 2025—may be referred to a parliamentary committee. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will move the motion in the Lok Sabha.
