About Wunderkammer:

This album is an approach.
To music as we see it, to the instruments—used like finger paints—to the very idea of playing live.

It’s a flow of sounds that follow one another sideways, like rain falling at an angle because of the wind: even if you’ve got an umbrella, you still get wet.

In two or three words, I’d like to tell people that before pressing play, they should make themselves comfortable. And get stoned, if that’s what puts them at ease. Yet it’s music that does require a certain commitment: if you want to step into the Den, the door is open; if you’ll enjoy being with us, we’ll be glad, and if you’d rather run away, we’ll wave goodbye with a smile.

Could this be our honest way of doing live shows? To present ourselves as guides for a journey—sometimes rhythmic, sometimes melodic, always harmonic, always moving.

We imagined this intruder from Porta Genova arriving physically, maybe even from the audience, to bring things to a close—because after all, it is a game. And the magic? Well yes, in fact it’s a magic trick.

Quest'album è un approccio. Alla musica secondo noi, agli strumenti, usati come colori a dita, al concetto di suonare dal vivo.

È un flusso di suoni che si susseguono lateralmente come la pioggia che casca obliqua perché tira vento e anche se hai l'ombrello ti bagni.

In 2 o 3 parole vorrei comunicare alle persone che prima di schiacciare il tasto play si dovrebbero mettere comodi. E fatti, se è questo che li mette in stato di quiete. È musica che richiede un certo impegno però: se vorrete entrare nella Tana, la porta è aperta, se vi piacerà stare con noi ne saremo felici, se vorrete scappare vi saluteremo sorridendo.

Può essere questo un modo onesto da parte nostra di fare i live? Proporci come conduttori di un viaggio più o meno ritmico più o meno melodico sicuramente armonico sicuramente emozionante.

Ci siamo immaginati questo intruso porta genova che arriva fisicamente e magari dal pubblico a chiudere i giochi perché di gioco si tratta. E la magia? Si in effetti é un gioco di magia

Il prossimo album pero sarà tutta un'altra storia.
