The Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge is the 2nd longest bridge in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The bridge located in Jubilee Hills connects with Financial District and eases traffic congestion to Madhapur across Durgam Cheruvu.
After the city experienced a boom in the number of cars owned and in traffic. The Jubilee Hills to Madhapur trip which usually takes 30mins started to take 40-60 min. The government of Telangana then put forward a proposal of a bridge through the Durgam Cheruvu to ease traffic in the area and cut down the time from 40/60 to 10 min.
