About MIS
MIS or Medan Independent School is a formal K-12 school for children from age 3 to high school. It is registered under the Yayasan Medan International School since 1969 as an international school. MIS is now authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as an IB Continuum School providing the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). MIS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) that enables us to be a part of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS). In Indonesia, MIS is registered as an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) school under the Ministry of Education and we are an active member of ANPS (The Association of National and Private Schools).
