Almaty Vlog Day 5 | Charyn Canyon, Kolsai & Kaindy Lakes | Best Day Tour from Almaty!

Описание: Welcome to Day 5 of my Almaty travel series! 🇰🇿
Today was all about nature, adventure, and scenic beauty 🌿 — as we went on a full-day tour to explore some of Kazakhstan’s most stunning natural wonders.

📍 Places We Visited:
1. Charyn Canyon – Often called the “Mini Grand Canyon,” it’s one of the most stunning places near Almaty. Be prepared to walk a lot, as the trail to the main viewpoint is around 2.5 km.

2. Charyn River – Crystal-clear water flows through the canyon valley. From here, you can take a UAZ vehicle back to the starting point if you prefer not to walk.

3. Black Canyon – A lesser-known spot with breathtaking views and unique black volcanic rock formations. You’ll get around 15 minutes here to enjoy the scenery and take some photos.

4. Kolsai Lake – A peaceful alpine lake surrounded by mountains, perfect for nature lovers and photographers. You can also enjoy boating here.

5. Kaindy Lake – Famous for its submerged forest and surreal beauty. A true hidden gem in Kazakhstan!

We booked this one-day group tour with Banana Tour Company, and it cost us 20,000 Tenge per person (~INR 3,800). The ride was long but scenic, and overall it was a great experience!
We booked this tour on WhatsApp and paid directly at their office.

Things to Know:
Long day, so carry snacks and water
Roads to the lakes are rough — prepare for a bumpy ride!
Visit between June to September for the best views

After this amazing day, we headed back to India — marking the end of our Almaty journey.
