Unmistakable Joy

Описание: The joy of Christmas is unmistakable. The songs, the lights, the decorations and gifts. Even the secular world can’t help joining in the festivities. Yet the true joy of Christmas is so much bigger than the holiday season. It’s so much deeper than any delight we might find in presents or family. It is a joy that flows from and points back to Jesus Christ himself. As he said during his farewell speech in John’s Gospel, “These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full” (Jn. 15:11).

So what does it look like to be filled with the joy of Jesus? This Advent season we’ll consider the joy that Christ uniquely brings into this world. The unmistakable joy that’s rooted in God’s promise of a Savior. The unparalleled joy that has no rival to Christ. The undefeatable joy that rises above life’s circumstances. The uncontainable joy that expresses itself in praise. And the unimaginable joy waiting for us in heaven and the age to come.

Jesus brings a unique joy to the world. Join us this Advent as we rejoice in him
