1. Dr. Hagelin: This is a follow-up question on the teaching of total knowledge: Maharishi, how is it that the knowledge of consciousness also gives knowledge of physics, chemistry, math, etc.?
2. Physics, chemistry and mathematics are aspects of Total Knowledge.
3. In the seventh state of consciousness, the consciousness is fully awake. Fully awake consciousness is the consciousness of total knowledge. In unity consciousness one's capability of knowing and doing is on the supreme level of possibility.
4. There is a field known as consciousness or Atma, the Self of everyone. Knowledge of that comes from direct experience and the authentic record of the past. Scientific research also validates it.
5. Experience of consciousness is the proper approach to education, not book reading.
6. Governmental leaders should know that there is something which they do not know, and now is the time for them to implement it. We can enlighten everyone in their country.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is widely regarded as one of the foremost scientists in the field of consciousness.
