In 1 Samuel 15:24, King Saul finally admits:
“I feared the people and obeyed their voice.”
His disobedience wasn’t rooted in rebellion — it was rooted in fear.
Fear often hides behind:
• Approval-seeking
• Partial obedience
• Overthinking
• Delay
• “Being realistic”
Sometimes what we call wisdom is actually avoidance.
Sometimes what we call caution is actually fear.
In this Morning Devotion, we confront:
✅ How fear disguises itself as people-pleasing
✅ Why partial obedience is still disobedience
✅ How fear silently influences decisions
✅ The danger of fearing people more than God
✅ How to expose what’s really driving you
You cannot defeat what you refuse to identify.
