In this video, I talk about what super heat is and how it happens. We go over a chart that explains it and it is easy to understand.
In Lesson 4, of our Online HVAC Prep Course: Evaporators, we discuss evaporators more in-depth. We take a look at pressure gauges and PT charts built into gauges. We discuss de-humidification, proper Delta T of the air and Evaporator super-heat.
Our Online HVAC Prep Course looks at the different types of evaporators: multi-circuit evaporators, stamp plate evaporators, and fin tube evaporators. We follow this by the introduction of the rule of thumb on superheat, and then we learn how to calculate superheat.
