If you're new to the channel, my name is Jimmy Grills, and I'm in the top 2% of iRacers world wide. I'm a sim-racing coach and educator, and have been helping drivers get faster for the last year now. In the span of 14 months I've grown my Instagram account to 110k followers (jimmy.grills) through educational short form content and now its time to share long form racing content on YouTube.

My mission is to make sim-racing education affordable for everyone, so we can all race like the drivers we know we can be.

How I got here...

Age 12: Played F12012 on my dad's logitech G25, not knowing anything about racing technique or theory.
Age 15: Picked up Assetto Corsa and continued to just hotlap, still not really knowing what I was doing.
Age 17: Took a break from casually sim-racing and focused on studies.
Age 18: Decided to go all in on learning racing theory, I wanted to become great at racing and knew devoting myself to learning the intricacies of racing was the only way.
Age 20: Two years deep into learning racing theory, reading books, and perfecting my knowledge I entered my first online race. It was MX5's on LFM in assetto corsa.
Age 20: I got into the top 50 world wide for Low Fuel Motorsports MX5 racing, using a Logitech G25.
Age 21: I bought a subscription to iRacing and uploaded my first short form piece of content on Instagram, Tik Tok and Youtube Shorts. Invested in a Direct Drive wheel and loadcell pedals to take my racing to the next level.
Age 21: I reached 100k Followers across all three platforms, and reached the top 2% of iRacers in the sports car license.
Age 21: Wrote and published a 300+ page book with over 50+ diagrams, so my audience could get a deeper understanding of racing technique. This has received 600+ 5 star reviews from satisfied followers.
Age 21: Began online coaching for iRacing and Assetto Corsa.
Age 22: Created Sim Racing University - The ultimate online educational platform to build racing skill.
