We embark the Naviera Armas fast ferry, the high speed catamaran Volcan de Taidia, as a foot passenger in Santa Cruz de Tenerife; a lengthy open air elevated walkway connects the terminal to the craft.
This is a brand new craft which, at the time of filming, had only been in operation for one week.
This is a fantastic craft which makes the crossing to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in around 2hrs.
Aboard there are several lounges (all on one deck), a well stocked bar/café, small shop, children's playroom, premium lounge, exterior deck and an elevator which gives access to the vehicle decks if one is unable to use the stairs.
