Manipur Violence Escalates: 2 Killed, Houses Burnt in Kamjong Attack | 6 Naga Hostages Identified

Описание: Violence has once again rocked Manipur as suspected militants attacked Kultuh Kuki village in Kamjong district, killing two people and setting dozens of homes ablaze. The attack comes just a day after the recovery of six bodies believed to be Naga civilians who were allegedly held hostage by armed groups.

Security forces have reached the affected area, while authorities continue efforts to identify those responsible. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe into the deaths of the six abducted Naga individuals.

Former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh stated that CRPF and CoBRA teams have been deployed, while Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam described the incident as a heinous and unprecedented crime, assuring strict action against the perpetrators.
