The Warriors faced their toughest challenge yet on the homestand by going up against the visiting New York Knicks, who were second in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks have since dropped down to third behind the Cletics after being defeated by the Dubs.
What started off with the worrying return of turnovers quickly stabalized thanks to consistent three-point shooting from Moses Moody and another excellent effort from Jimmy Butler. Although Steph Curry had a rough first half, his shooting returned to form in the second. Off the bench Melton continued to be a rocks-teady foundation for defense. Together, the team managed to secure a win against a challenging team.
